Stephen Covey’s 7 ‘Habits of Highly Effective People’ was first published in 1989. More than 30 years later, our interest in positive educational habits remains high with the publication of books such as ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear. In this workshop series we explore the habits that positive educators need to develop in order to thrive and achieve success.
Whether it’s meeting deadlines or making sure you do your break duty, ‘walking the talk’ as an educator is essential. In lots of respects, it’s the little things that people notice, and ‘walking the talk’ helps educators model the values and behaviours that set the tone and create a positive culture. This workshop explores what ‘walking the talk’ looks like when it is most effective within an educational environment. This workshop is suitable for anyone who works within educational environment.
